Ekenäs Jousting Tournament

This weekend, on May 17th-18th, Ekenäs Castle will be dressed in medieval attire and transported back in time to an era full of adventure when the annual jousting tournament takes place. You’ll be able to stroll around the market and witness a grand joust, but then be sure to make your way down to our camp, where you’ll have a chance for a more personal encounter and even get the opportunity to hold a sword and feel like a knight for a moment.

Are you eager to see how different kinds of duels throughout history might have looked? Perfect! Then you should definitely stop by our camp. In the ring outside, you’ll get a glimpse of our brave fighters, both with and without armor, as they engage in combat.

But if you just want to stop by for a chat or take a closer look at the armor and weapons when they’re not in use, that’s of course perfectly fine too.
