When the sun stands high and garlands crown our brows, we extend to thee our most heartfelt and joyful Midsummer greeting.
Whether thou dost revel in mail, linen raiment, or garments of modern comfort, may thy day be blessed with fine fare, merry company, and perchance a dance or two – be it with or without gauntlets of steel.
We give thanks for thy part in keeping the spirit of history alive – both within the training hall and upon the fields of reenactment. It is through thee that our fellowship thrives, warm and true. We look ahead with gladness to sweat upon the brow, steel that sings, and the camaraderie yet to come.
Dost thou hunger still for the clash of blade? Fear not – for our swords shall not rust idly. Training shall proceed as customary this coming Sunday. Thou art most welcome!
Take heed, fare well, and may thy Midsummertide be wondrous and bright!
