Valborg Celebration in Gamleby

Gamleby is celebrating its 750th anniversary in 2025 and kicks off the celebrations with a wonderful Valborg celebration in medieval style. The evening begins with a medieval parade featuring knights and spring songs performed by the choir Cantabile.

Throughout the evening the area will be filled with medieval music, market stalls and a place to get you some hotdogs. You will also get a small glimpse of what our performance during the big medievalmarket in Gamleby this summer will entail.

At the end of the evening the big lighting of the bonfire will take place, a perfect end to the magical and historically inspired experience that brings both excitement and warmth to the cool Valborg evening.

Throughout the evening, before and after the performance, we will be at our tent so feel free to stop by for a pleasant chat!
